With the funds raised we have been able to support many, many projects with our breast care units and we have many more exciting and demanding projects to achieve. The wish lists just seem to get longer and longer. We believe our charity is successful because we are local and all monies raised go towards agreed projects with the hospitals. We are fortunate, in fact delighted, to say that we have one of the County’s top consultant oncologists (Dr Roy Mathew) as our President and other leading surgeons and doctors as Vice presidents and Honorary Members. Read on, browse through this unique website to learn more about the work we do. Perhaps you may want to get involved? We do hope so! Breast cancer touches the hearts of so, so many people. It is a serious subject – it is a disease that sadly is not going to go away. We do all we can to help everyone go through their journey and beyond by having as much fun as we can and by living for today. The future for our Charity is unknown, as is life in general, but knowing how we have started, we know we have the vision, we know we have the enthusiasm and certainly the drive to make an even bigger difference to breast cancer care in Northamptonshire. |
