Cupcakes were the theme for Breasts Reunited this year, and you had to see them to believe them!

A great evening was had by everyone. It started with a pink champagne reception and then after a few words from Glennis and Claire the real action started – teams had to decorate their cupcakes. Competition was fierce.

The consultants were first up and set a high standard (although we hope their surgery skills are even better!), then it was the nurses turn… perhaps they had better keep their day jobs…

Next up were the Crazy Hats team – oh dear…. more practice was obviously needed (no, not EATING the cupcakes!).

Now the consultants ‘better halves' came together as a team, well they certainly had the artistic skill, but it was the two teams that followed, Patients 1 and Patients 2, who really showed everyone what cupcakes were all about….

And then it was the men's team – well, there's not a lot can be said about their efforts, but it's the taking part that counts!

After the excitement of the cupcakes competition, attention then turned to the racing.

Six races were in action, three on the flat and three over fences, with some world famous horses taking part – Claire's Cleavage, Boobs R Us, Cherry on Top and Nip & Tuck…watch out for them in future! Betting was keen on all the races, but it was Dr.Mathew who had the winning streak.

Next up was the famous Crazy Hats raffle – what an array of prizes!

…and then it was dancing all the way to the small hours…

MANY thanks to everyone who helped organise the event, to all those who came – a great £750 was raised on the night. Particular thanks to Beedles Lake Golf Club and our host Ian, it was a fantastic venue.
